No other production company in Texas comes close to the expertise of the professional team at Night Heron Media when it comes to history-related programming.
Led by master storyteller Mike Vance, everyone involved brings years of both television station experience and freelance success. We've got shelves full of awards to prove it. What makes this team different is that it's led by a prize-winning professional historian with more than a half dozen published books to his credit. No one in the state can make that claim.
Together, we've produced seven feature length documentary films in the highly-decorated Birth of Texas Series and over 175 short history videos. Those products run regularly on select Texas PBS stations and on HISD-TV. Our Slices of Texas History videos capture the imagination, and our Texas History Initiative short films are made available free of charge to every 7th grade Texas history classroom in the state.
We've also used those same talents to create engaging videos for organizations and businesses who wish to showcase their own glorious past. Those clients include Kinkaid School, Rosenberg Library, the City of Houston, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Brenham Heritage Museum and Neuhaus Education Center. Let us tell the world about your organization's unique story!
