Giving Reminds Us What We Should Be Thankful For

This year, Thanksgiving might look a bit different with families meeting virtually, social distancing, or postponing the holiday altogether. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t still call up your loved ones, schedule a video call, or send them something to show them you’re thankful they’re in your life, especially if it’s a child who you know is especially missing you this Thanksgiving. Night Heron Media is here to help with the perfect gift to show your friends or family how much they mean to you: Giving, by Muhammad Sadiq.
Giving by Muhammad Sadiq is a recently published children’s book that teaches kids of all ages about what it truly means to appreciate all of the things, both big and small, that we have in this world, and how to give back in turn. This lesson is especially important right now, as families struggle with hardships during the time of a pandemic: to stop and appreciate the little things—especially those we might take for granted.

Giving also reminds us that despite the hardships we face, there is always something to be thankful for, whether it’s for random acts of kindness or being able to spend quality time with the people we care about most. This is a must-read for both adults and children, as everyone might need to remember this every now and then, and it serves as a reminder to not only appreciate what we have, but how to give back—to friends, family, and community.

While Giving is a timely read as we approach the holiday season, it’s also a humbling lesson that can be read at any time as it offers an educational aspect that not only entertains but offers perspective in a simple yet humbling manner.

Give the gift of Giving this holiday season and bring the real meaning of the holiday season back to its roots within your community—appreciation. If you would like to buy Giving by Muhammad Sadiq, find it in our shop here.
