Welcome to Night Heron Media

Howdy there, and welcome to Night Heron Media, where our mission is educate and entertain Texans about our culture, history, art and lifestyle.

Texas is, by all accounts, a unique place. This state has a future that is just as rich as its present, which is just as rich as its past. Most of all, Texas is made up of its people, and those people, with all the backgrounds, talents, and quirky traits that have brought them here, have stories to tell. Night Heron Media strives to be a vehicle for them to be able to tell those stories. We want to support the writers, artists, and companies--the visionaries--who embody that Texan uniqueness by presenting their work to the world. Our founders thought they could do that best by creating Night Heron Media, a nonprofit multimedia company that specializes in publishing books, short film and video making, and content creation.

Book Publishing

We are passionate about great books, and we can help your book come to life to join those ranks of great works. From editing and design, to printing and binding, we will work with you to share your beautiful story with the general population through local and national retailers. If you don’t yet have a completed book, don’t worry. We can help with that too! We offer publishing services, from illustration to editing, that can help you take that next step.

Video Creation

Do you want help creating a video that highlights your story, or maybe showcases your business’s past, or any aspect of Texas history? Our production team is well-qualified to do so, having produced seven feature length documentary films in the highly-decorated Birth of Texas Series and over 175 short history videos. We would love to work with you to create a one-of-a-kind video that’s everything you need and exactly what you want.
